![]() ![]() Useful Mac Apps Sip (copy and paste colors directly without hex codes).Designers, what's your favorite color picker app? I've been using Sip with a SetApp subscription.I think you could do a similar thing with your CMS landing page if you're not already. Sip's headline could use some work, but what I'm getting at is that you can scroll down and quickly get a feel for the features and how the app will benefit you. A or B? I’m gotten mixed feedback so far… For some examples of what I mean, check out the Cash App landing page, as well as the landing page for this color picker app I use called Sip.It will copy/export your colors for actual languages and not just formats and my personal favorite feature is savable palettes. Recommendation for Software Engineer/Developer and Software architect apps? If we're talking color pickers, as you mentioned there are tons out there, but ColorSlurp is my absolute favorite. The best part is if you’re browsing the web and see a colour you like, simply click on the colour picker and select the colour, jump over to Illustrator or whatever and paste the colour code into your design. It’s a desktop colour picker that allows you to create palettes plus a bunch of other cool stuff. Is there a simple way to save a color for later use? If you’re using a Mac, you could use a program called ColorSlurp. It’s great for picking colours from webpages or images and dropping it right into Illustrator, Photoshop etc. Underrated MacOS applications and softwares I don’t know whether everybody would benefit from this, but I know designers definitely will, and that’s an app called ColorSlurp, its a powerful desktop colour picker.Another way to keep things toned down is to not create high contrast, for example whatever color your walls are, make window trims the same color to help blend it out. I suggest you choose neutral colors first and then add in slightly toned down branding colors trickled throughout the space. ![]() Designing for Serious Business - SpotVirtualHQ A big part of my job is choosing colors that are easy on the eyes and won’t over stimulate.Just got a Mac, what are some of your must-have apps and software to have on it? Haven’t seen them mentioned yet but ColorSlurp is a slick colour picker and MeetingBar is an awesome meeting reminder tool that lives in your menu bar and gives you a quick prompt to join a Zoom/Teams/whatever meeting. ![]() ![]()
